Here, a case has been registered against seven people, including former chairman of District Cooperative Bank, Ramdarsh ​​Vidyarthi, for rape and prostitution. Barhalganj police station has taken this action on the complaint of a Scheduled Caste woman.

The woman alleges that she was first raped by her boyfriend and later sold to a brothel in Bengaluru. Somehow she saved her life and reached home with the help of a woman. Police has started investigation after registering the case.

The girl has given tahrir to the police and told that she had a love affair with Devanand. On July 8 last year, Devanand took her to Rudrapur on the pretext of getting married. It is alleged that in the night, two people, including Ramdarsh, made physical relations and forced them to withdraw the old case.

On protesting, Devanand and his companions sold him at a brothel in Bangalore. Where a woman started doing sex trade with him. Somehow she ran away with the help of a girl and reached her brother in Goa. After this, somehow went to Barhalganj and lodged a complaint on the CM portal.
